Turimetta I my opinion is probably the most picturesque beach in Sydney and for this reason happens to be very popular amongst photographers. Despite this, it gets almost no mention anyway, it doesn't even have a car park. Which is most definitely a good thing. I was here last Tuesday and here a few of the images I got. Sunrise wasn't much to write home about and the tide was probably a wee bit too low to get much flow over the rocks. I chose to try and include the headland in the frame as I normally look out to sea with seascapes. Here a some photos as the light evolved as the sun rose up.
Once the sun had come up and was shining a lovely golden light through the breaking waves, so I thought I'd get the telephoto out and try and catch some shots of the couple surfers braving the winter waters.
